I am a shareholder with the law firm of Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, P.C. in Chattanooga, Tennessee. My practice includes litigation and trial work involving issues of complex business and commercial transactions; claims under consumer protection statutes; antitrust compliance; discrimination and employment law; and intellectual property disputes. I also practice in the areas of federal and state white-collar criminal defense.
My recent civil experience includes trial and litigation work in the areas of complex accounts receivable and accountings; prosecution and defense of consumer protection claims; partnership dissolution; prosecution and defense of breach of commercial lease agreements; prosecution of trade name infringement; defense of banking practices under the Uniform Commercial Code; prosecution and defense of breach of commercial lease agreements; prosecution of trade secret misappropriation; and defense of franchise termination issues. I also have recent experience in the successful defense of employers against claims of discrimination, sexual harassment, and retaliatory discharge.
