I was charged with a second offense DUI. I have no excuse and I should not have been driving. My husband had just passed away and I was going thru personal issues. I backed into another car and was charged with DUI and felony vehicular assault. My case was uphill and Mr. Houston made no bones abo...ut it. He told me that he could not guarantee a particular outcome, but would guarantee that he and the other lawyers at Houston & Alexander would work hard to get the best result possible. Mr. Houston was able to get my second offense reduced to a first offense. I had to wear an alcohol monitor but was happy to do so. Otherwise, I was looking at significant jail time. I cannot say enough about this law firm! I would give 10 stars if I could. Everyone there is friendly and it is like a family. I also love their office. It is a house located near downtown but not in downtown so I did not have to deal with going down there, If you have any legal issue, I would call them immediately!

I was facing several charges, including pills for resale. Frankly, I had no hope for a good result even though I knew Johnny was a great lawyer (I had previously hired him for another even more serious case). It wasn't cheap, but quality representation isn't cheap and it took me a little time to get... the money together. RESULT? The B felony was reduced to a simple misdemeanor and the other charges were dismissed. I cannot say enough great things about this law firm. They kept me informed the whole time, returned my calls and did everything I asked them to do. Johnny in particular is easy to talk to but is well-respected by Judges, DAs and police officers. I hope to NEVER be in trouble again, but if you are in trouble, give Johnny or Bret a call. I could not be happier and more satisfied.
