With over 20 years of experience in the Chattanooga criminal law system, trial lawyer Mary Sullivan Moore has litigated hundreds of cases and helped countless defendants protect their rights and their futures against criminal charges.
Ms. Moore brings eight years of experience as a Hamilton County prosecutor to her solo practice. A Chattanooga native, Ms. Moore graduated from The University of Mississippi School of Law in 1994, and earned her Master of Laws from Tulane University Law School in 1995. She has also taught law as an adjunct professor at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Ms. Moore formerly served as a special child abuse prosecutor, and also practiced civil law at Brewer Krause and at Luther-Anderson, PLLP.
Ms. Moore is a member of the Chattanooga Bar Association, and received a BV Distinguished* rating from Martindale-Hubbell, a peer-review rating site. She has significant nonprofit experience, having worked in various capacities for the Southeast Tennessee Lawyers' Association for Women (SETLAW), is a member of the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce and has been on the Board of Directors for the Northside Learning Center, the Chattanooga Women's Leadership Institute and for Chattanooga's Kids on the Block. She has been a Kiwanian of Chattanooga, and continues to support and volunteer for the Children's Advocacy Center of Chattanooga.
