Dedicated and Diligent

I am writing this letter to express my appreciation for having the Mary S Sullivan Law Firm represent me in my Child Custody Case. I have known Mary and she has represented me since April of 2014. I have seen Mary Sullivan and Heather Burnette work long and diligently towards keeping my sanity by ...putting in the work to represent me to the best of their abilities. I have found Mary to be very thorough while working my case and has even involved me in the fact gathering process in order for me to become more aware of trial proceedings. Mary is very prideful in her work which tells me that she wants to be successful not only for herself, but for me as a client as well. I am blessed to have the Mary Sullivan Moore Law Firm represent me and would recommend this law firm to anyone. Thank you for your time. Rodney Johnson

A Ruthless Fighter for Good

Words cannot do justice for what Mary Sullivan Moore and her team of top notch legal experts have provided for our family during a season of great challenge. We were first introduced to Mary at a pivotal moment and she wasted no time in stepping in to provide genuine representation when we needed it ...most. She is relentless in her pursuit to defend the innocent, the voiceless and she does so with the utmost integrity and poise. In an industry riddled with deception and a lack of transparency, Mary is the exception. She’s a bright light for the city of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Hamilton County and our great community. If you’re looking for someone who is honest, look no further. Mary Sullivan Moore will prepare you for the reality that you face. She’s a defender to the highest degree. Her rich experience makes her the right choice, no matter the problem. Mary’s passion is unmeasurable and she will stop at nothing to ensure the lives of those she represents are restored. Why? Because she actually cares about the people she represents and the lives impacted by her defense. When it feels like the weight of the world is upon your shoulders, she’ll be there to help ease the burden. When you feel like you have nowhere else to turn, she’ll lead you to clarity once again. When you need a fighter to protect the things you hold closet to your heart, like your family, your children and everything in between, she’ll be the leader that you need. We’ve seen Mary Sullivan Moore take on challenges that she’s never faced in her 20+ year career. Where she could have easily backed away for the sake of her reputation, she put the needs of others above her own. She did what she felt was right for our family and that passion to fight for what’s right whatever the cost is unlike anything we’ve experienced prior to knowing Mary. There’s no other attorney I would want leading our family. She’s a godsend. A true friend. A ruthless fighter for good. Family. When you find yourself needing that helping hand, Mary is your answer. If you don’t know her, you need to. On behalf of our entire family, thank you for never giving up. The appreciation we have for you extends beyond our ability of expression.

Best Attorney In Town!

It is without hesitation that I would recommend Mary Sullivan Moore for legal representation. She was honest and straightforward in our communications. She is intelligent, well-spoken and respectful in the courtroom and above all to her clients. I was more that pleased with her service.

Utterly disappointed

In my opinion, I have personally never seen such continued incompetence in dealing with a professional in my life. We retained Ms. Moore the first week of December to close out an uncontested divorce that was literally two weeks from finalizing before the judge. In initial consult, Ms. Moore promis...ed to seek damages which the previous attorney had chosen to not pursue. All the things we had desired, but weren’t getting from the mediation agreement that Ms. Moore promised confidently she would seek! (Until I paid the retainer.) We then went weeks with little, to no communication, all the promises offered now turning to excuses. Sheer incompetence by her and her paralegal came out in many conversations, with correspondence from us regularly, and conveniently misplaced and forgotten. Ms. Moore was continually condescending, belittling and deeply abrasive with no provocation. This case, which was in the last two weeks of completion before, is now six months in, post retaining Ms. Moore. In this entire time, only one motion was ever filed to the court, which Ms. Moore filed improperly mind you. When finally in front of the judge on this “Motion Monday,” with all parties present, Ms. Moore not only failed to bring the proper paperwork before him, she utterly choked in attempting to state our side of the case. Her utter lack of any preparation before this hearing not only had the opposing counsel grinning from ear to ear, but had the Judge dismissing her out of the courtroom without addressing the Motion before him. This “bulldog” of a litigator, as so would be described, was put down to that of a whimpering puppy before the Judge. If that is not bad enough, 24 hours after completely self destructing before the court, she had the nerve to tell us our $3200 retainer was not only used up, but that her client was now owing an additional $2500+, PLUS an additional $3000 retainer to carry on!!!? Needless to say, Mary Sullivan Moore has since been fired, and replaced with new counsel without hesitation. I would NOT recommend this attorney to anyone, at any time, for any service.

Best Attorney in Chattanooga

I was in a very bad situation with my custody battle over my only child, I was losing and there was no light at the end of the tunnel, then I hired Mary and things started to turn around immediately. The situation went from bad to, "I have hope again", to "I won". Mary saved my child's life, and gave... me my life back. Without Mary Sullivan Moore going to bat for me in the worst match of my life I would have lost everything I held dear to me, "my child" Thank you Ms. Moore for standing up to the good 'ol boy network women face in this State, and giving me my life back!

When an attorney is censured it means he or she did something wrong but may still practice law. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
