Then he would call me and he kept me informed on what was happening with my case . when I went to court he was there at my side advising me what to tell the judge. my case went well thanks to his research ...into the case. Mr. Colvin represented me for bankruptcy. He is a very thorough and professional lawyer. I had contacted quite a few lawyers and they all wanted to take several months to complete the bankruptcy. After being denied Disability 3 separate times, I thought my case was hopeless. It was also at a time when I was still battling my pancreatic illness, so I did not feel that I had the physical strength to appeal once again. Another local Attorney turned down representing me, because he did not think ...that we had a shot to win. A friend recommended that I speak to Atty Colvin before I give up completely. Atty Colvin even let me speak with the judge to add my thoughts to the case he presented. I told the judge that my illness was real, my pain was real. That I had worked ever since I was 15 yeas old, and had (at the time of my hearing) began working again. I was not looking to file Disability for long term, or to take advantage of the system. That my illness was real, along with the 11 surgeries/procedures that I had, and I was only filing again because I needed help with the medical bills that had accumulated during that time. When I left the hearing, Atty Colvin told me it would be a few weeks before we knew if we won. Leaving there, I knew that Atty Colvin had given it 110%, and I had no regrets having him represent me. Atty Colvin won my case, and I am forever grateful. I received 2 checks in the mail and these covered about 75% of the medical bills that I had accrued during my illness.
