Sean’s practice focuses on two areas: Personal Injury and Family Law.
PERSONAL INJURY
In personal injury cases, Sean represents individuals who are injured due to the fault of another. He holds the at-fault party responsible for his or her conduct and, when an insurance company is involved, he makes sure the company pays for the mistake(s) of their insured.
In representing individuals against persons or companies who often have large war chests to fight an injured party’s just claim for compensation, Sean uses his education, training and experience—including his past experience as an insurance company attorney—to “level the playing field” and see that his clients get the compensation to which they are entitled.
If you have been injured at the hands of another—either a person, persons, company or corporation—please contact Sean so that he may evaluate your case.
You should be aware that most personal injury claims must be brought within one (1) year of the date of injury. If you have been injured in the past year, please contact Sean as soon as possible so that he can assist you with getting the compensation you deserve.
In personal injury cases, Sean does not charge a fee unless he WINS.
FAMILY LAW
Sean’s experience with family law began in Judge Shipley’s Court, where he was her clerk for two (2) years after law school. He assisted the Judge with all aspects of her family docket with issues ranging from simple uncontested divorces to complex child custody cases and everything in between.
Since then, he has represented both men and women in every conceivable domestic situation, including cases where emotional, physical and/or sexual abuse of one party or the parties’ children has been alleged. Sean has the training, experience, and, perhaps more importantly, the temperament to assist you with your family law case.
If you find yourself in need of a family lawyer, please contact Sean. He will answer all of your questions, and be with your throughout the emotional process of family litigation.

Excellent!
Sean handled my case with the highest professionalism. It was a very difficult time for me and his legal guidance was very helpful. He made himself available when I had questions, kept me updated and explained each step throughout the entire process. I could not have asked for more. If you are lookin...

Not Helpful
Mr. Martin exhibited the following behavior as it related to my case: was hard to get in touch with; would only update me on my case via a two sentence email (with the last line being "I'm outta here for the weekend!") either close to or after 5:00 pm on Friday afternoons when there was no way for me...
I have no idea who wrote this review, but literally none of the clients I've successfully represented in my career would ever say such things about me. Clearly, this individual is writing about someone else. Moreover, none of my partners or associate attorneys or staff would ever say such things about me. I work late, I work on the weekends, and I am one of the most accessible attorneys I know. I pride myself on my accessibility, in fact. Further, the idea that I would divulge client confidential information or advocate trial without reviewing evidence--again, this person has the wrong individual. The comments in this regard are so far wrong I don't even know how to respond. As for caving in--I invite my fellow members of the bar to weigh in here. Do I cave in? Ever? That part of this review really amused me. Caving in. Me? Ha! Dragging out the process, working for the other side--here again, I do not even know how to respond. It's just ridiculous. Check your facts, whoever you are. You have defamed the wrong individual. Accordingly, you are instructed to remove this review. Your failure to do so within twenty-four (24) hours will be met with a lawsuit. I'll get your contact info from AVVO. My reputation is stellar, and I'll not allow some anonymous internet troll attempt to damage it. Have a nice day, Sean

Saved My Case
My case already stale after a driver ran a red light and hit me one night on my way home and I received counsel that was unqualified and overworked. Sean started my case from scratch 2 years later with state farm and their client. After several offers and appeals from Sean to get what we deserved, a ...

"Sean Martin is an exceptional lawyer as well as person. We have worked as opposing counsel on some challenging family law cases and I can say he can always be counted on for integrity and creativity in the solutions he finds for his clients. He is a worthy adversary and someone who has mentored me in my own practice. Highly recommend."
"Sean is a well-respected attorney because he is smart and knows his stuff- but also because he is a nice guy. He manages to zealously represent his client without sacrificing professionalism and courtesy. I endorse this lawyer."
