Every step of the way

Mrs. Lashbrook was there for me from the very first consultation until the end. She was very informative and helped me to do everything that I needed to do. I cannot express how great and clear the communication was and I never felt confused or alone. You can feel the passion she exhibits to fight fo...r what is right.

No communication for months at a time!

I got to witness someone pay a good amount of money for this attorney to sit on her butt and ignore her client for over 2 years for something as simple and easy as his child support case. Then, she has the audacity to send a large bill and want payment for sending emails back and forth to the opposin...g attorney getting no where. The opposing attorney requested taxes and ppwk and we sent them in the next day. In 2 years, she’s STILL not even sent that to him! She’s done absolutely NO WORK on this case what so ever! Emails and voicemails have went weeks to months unanswered. Her Aussie assistant will tell you she’s “in court” but how is she in court 5 days a week and not able to respond to a simple “can we please have an update on this case?”. Because of her lack of representation, lack of communication, and all around unprofessionalism, she’s been reported to the bar. Stay away! Do not invest or hire in this attorney.

Thank you for commenting. While making a public comment requires bravery, unfortunately, as I am unaware of your identity, you have not allowed me the opportunity to address these issues directly. Additionally, you cited that you retained me, but you reference my representation of another individual, which negates the possibility of me addressing my client directly. Further, as I am required to protect my client's confidentiality and the confidentiality of matters to which I represent clients, you've attacked me, my representation, my integrity, and my staff in a public forum, which appears to have occurred after I and my office attempted to collect an unpaid debt in contravention of a contract to pay me for services rendered. While I dedicate myself to the representation of my clients and their issues, I - like you - contract for payment of my time. As I am required to keep my clients' circumstances confidential, I would never forsake my ethical responsibility to address issues in a public forum. I invite the individual with whom you are acquainted to contact me to discuss his/her/their issues or concerns discreetly, as I assure that I would have addressed those issues had I known of same during my representation. I look forward to speaking with him/her/them directly, and I wish you all of the best tidings in all of you/s/he/their endeavors.

DO NOT HIRE!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value DO NOT HIRE! YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! I read reviews about this attorney that were alarming, however, she came recommended by the Domestic Violence organization, so my family decided to give her a shot. We hired her in 2018 and were happy ...that of all the other attorney's we looked at, she seemed to have one of the lowest retainers. That was our first mistake. One of the reviews said that she didn't file the correct paperwork, or that she missed deadlines. Both of which happened in my families case. Another said that she lost every motion even when the other parties council was inept. She did in fact lose every motion and got steamrolled by opposing council. The other side got everything they wanted while we got nothing. For example, she never introduced the police report that was filed that would have supported the domestic abuse claim. They initially had 2 weekends a month, and that was changed do 10 days a month, plus many holidays. For someone who has never been alone with his child for an extended period of time in her whole life. For someone who was abusive to both the mother and the child. The father went from having approximately 48 days a year to having 145 days a year! She is lazy and overwhelmed and our end result was worse than what we could have ever anticipated. She comes across as caring, but is unprofessional and highly disorganized. She does not return calls or emails in a timely manner. Her billing is unclear. Due to her incompetency, my family has paid tens of thousands of dollars to undue the damage she caused. We are now severely in debt and it is all because she damaged our case from the very beginning. Please stay away. There are many other attorneys in Rutherford County that are better. I would 100% recommend W. Scott Kimberly located at: 111 N Maple St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130, phone number: (615) 890-1099 Our end result isn't perfect, but it was the best possible outcome given the damage that Rebecca caused. It is now 3 years later and we finally have some semblance of closure. Not perfect, but livable.

It exudes bravery to make a public comment. Given that I do not know your identify, as my records do not reflect that I have ever represented anyone by the name "Sandra," and more importantly that all of my client's cases require confidentiality, I cannot reply to specifics in a public forum. I invite you to contact my office to discuss your concerns discreetly, as I assure I would have addressed had I known of your concerns during my representation of you. I look forward to speaking with you directly, and I wish you all of the best tidings in all of your endeavors.

Therefore, she knows lawyers, cases, and the litigation process better than her "official" experience indicates. I know she will do well for her clients. Rebecca Lashbrook is a fine lawyer."
