Experienced Professional

Mr. Hoover is experienced, measured, and professional. His credentials alone speak for him. I had a complex case with a vast amount of data to unpack. Analyzing the data relied heavily on dissecting extremely nuanced, detailed information in each report document being used to build a case against me.... Although time consuming, dissecting the varying report data yielded a more accurate case analysis. This proved to be key in my defense. Without going into further details of the case, I will say that being innocent and fighting against a false narrative, is a lonely, scary place to be. In order to establish the best approach towards a favorable resolution, Mr. Hoover invested a great deal of time in understanding and explaining every aspect of my case to me. At its conclusion, all of the result objectives I initially set forth in his office were accomplished. I was in a situation that strategically backed me into a corner. It was becoming difficult for me to tell who the “good guys” and “bad guys” really were. They seemed to all act the same. The overwhelming amount of fear and depression it left me with really began to take its toll. That is until my first meeting Mr. Hoover. From the start, there was a sense of calm and well being about him. After listening to what I had to say, the confidence he expressed in his ability to help me, immediately began to alleviate the worries I had in getting my case under control. Throughout the entire legal process he fought for me, listened to me, and was patient during the numerous times I struggled with doubt and cynicism. I have so much gratitude for Mr. Hoover and how he helped me out of the very troubling place I was in. The amazing legal staff in the Hoover law office also needs to be noted. Their consistent effort to go above and beyond for me did not go unnoticed. It truly was a major contributing factor towards the positive experience I had. Any additional questions or concerns I had were always welcomed, and promptly addressed. On multiple occasions, time was scheduled out for last minute one-on-one meetings without any impression that I was a hassle to them. I am beyond appreciative for the willingness they had in being available for me…both during, and after my case resolution.

Great Attorney service from former judge Mr. Lonnie Hoover!

Mr. Hoover did a fantastic job defending me in my case. I was being referred to Mr. Hoover by a friend. My experience with Mr. Hoover was remarkable, the impossible became possible. Mr. Hoovers profile, being a former judge was well enough to hire him (served as Williamson Sessions Court Judge b/w 19...95 - 2006). I was possibly looking at having a DUI charge on my record, causing me a lot of time, money and inconvenience. Thanks to Mr. Hoover, my charge was reduced to reckless driving. If you are a criminal defendant in the Williamson County, Tennessee, Mr. Hoover is your best bet. I am an innocent man who was accused of a heinous crime. There were potentially false witnesses lined up against me, as well as social workers who were determined to find something wrong with me in the...ir psychological assessment. The accuser had an ulterior motive, and was present at the court on my court date, vehemently asking the prosecutor to prosecute me and expecting to testify. After considering all the evidence, including Mr. Hoover’s presentation of my story and interview with the accuser, the prosecutor decided to drop all charges outright (not even retirement, or pre-trial diversion), which is exceedingly rare. Why was I so worried if I were in fact innocent? Because, until that moment, Mr. Hoover was the only person in the world who believed me. And the truth sometimes fails to prevail. To me, Mr. Hoover is the ideal of an American lawyer—your champion against the hostile world. When the whole world seems to have ganged up against you, and all prospects look doomed and gloomy, he will fight to uncover the truth, against all odds. My experience, of course, should not be read as a guarantee that your cases will be dismissed too. You might not be necessarily innocent (or partially at fault, with mitigating circumstances), and even if you are innocent, your circumstances might be worse than what I have faced. But Mr. Hoover will fight for you, knows the system in and out in the Williamson County, is highly respected there (he was a judge there), and he will maximize your chance of getting the best result and/or uncovering the truth (if doing so best serves you, as was in my case). Now, Mr. Hoover will never promise you anything; he would rather not lie. Trust me—you do not want a lawyer who does not worry or who is too optimistic; those guys over-promise and cannot deliver. Thank you, Mr. Hoover, for saving my honor.

Criminal Defense

I was charged with a class E felony with intent to resell, along with paraphernalia and driving on a revoked license with no insurance.
