DUI is a special type of crime which is committed by ordinary individuals, not criminals. if you have been charged with a DUI, give me a call and let's discuss the details of why the officer stopped you; did you submit to a field sobriety test and if so how do you think you did; did you submit to a Blood or Breath test, and was it voluntary or was it forced on you. Are there any constitutional issues to address. don't just take a plea....talk to an experienced DUI attorney.

Look no further

I hired Lonnie to represent me in a DUI. I was charged with DUI over 2.0 BAC, open container, and implied consent. Unfortunately, it was not my first offense, and I was facing a minimum of 45 days in jail, and 2 years of license suspension. Lonnie managed to negotiate it down to 10 days, and a one...-year suspension. I was currently living out of state at the time, and he also arranged it so that I could meet with probation, enter my plea, and start serving my sentence all in the same day, to minimize my amount of time away from home. He was professional, communicative, and set realistic expectations from the start. If you're facing a DUI in TN, you might want to hire the guy whose photo is up on the wall in the halls of the courtroom, and who all the people who work there greet as, "Hey Judge". I couldn't recommend him more.

THE BEST ATTORNEY

If I could give more than 5 stars I woukd!! It was my first experience inside a courtroom. Needless to say I was very scared and nervous. But after Mr Hoover told me step by step what to expect I began to feel more at ease. I had the best possible outcome because of Mr Hoover. He is definitely... the best!!!! 5 STARS!!!

Unparalleled service

I was a first-time offender and at a low point in my life when I hired Lonnie to represent me. His service was nothing short of outstanding. Lonnie was not judgmental, and he was extremely helpful and clear in explaining what the charge against me was, how the process would unfold, and the various ...things he would do to defend me. Lonnie spent many years as a Criminal Judge, and he obviously knows the law, the system, and the people in a way that no other criminal defense attorney in Williamson County—and beyond—could. I am very happy with Lonnie’s handling of my case and the superb and personal attention he provided throughout the process. Lonnie’s staff, also, is top-notch. I highly recommend Lonnie and his law firm to anyone who faces a criminal charge. One’s freedom is serious business, not to be entrusted to another lightly. With Lonnie, you will know that you are in the best of hands.

Outstanding Attorney

Mr. Hoover helped me with a first DUI offense as well as Leaving the Scene of an Accident Charge. His knowledge of the court system and outstanding guidance provided my case with an unbelievable outcome. I could not thank him and his team more for their hard work and dedication to my case. His tho...rough understanding of my situation allowed me to feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Mr. Hoover’s wise worse of encouragement allowed me to now focus better on my future. I highly recommend Mr. Hoover to anyone with similar issues.

Awesome Attorney

Mr. Hoover represented me for a probation violation. His knowledge of the judicial system, available options, and specific guidance on corrective actions to take were invaluable. He has helped me not only navigate the judicial system for the best positive outcome but has helped me to choose a diffe...rent path for my future. I highly recommend his services.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
