My primary area of practice is CRIMINAL DEFENSE. I have handled thousands of Criminal cases over the past 31 years as both a lawyer and a Judge for 15 years. About half my cases are defending citizens just like you who have been charged with Driving Under the Influence(DUI). Most people arrested for DUI's are just ordinary citizens like you and me. Most have never been arrested before and most have absolutely no Criminal record whatsoever.

Kind, understanding, and gets things done!

I retained Mr. Hoover at a very stressful time in my life. I was charged with shoplifting when I inadvertently failed to scan some of my items at a self check out line. Mr. Hoover listened intently to my story when I met with him and took many notes. He keenly listened to me as he asked many question...s and calmed my fears. I was so frightened and his reassurance that he would do the very best he could for me eased my worries. He told me to go home and do something for myself, as caring for others had gotten me into my agitated stressed out persona to begin with. He assured me that worrying about this situation wouldn’t change the outcome so to put my worries aside and let him get to work on it. When my court date came, we were hoping for a pretrial diversion, where I would remain on probation for a year and then have my record expunged. Never did I expect that he would be able to get my charge completely retired and I didn’t even have to appear before the Judge to plead! No charges on record! I was fighting back tears of joy! Mr. Hoover’s attention and empathy to me as a client was what made this happen. I highly recommend Mr Hoover as an advocate on your side in a criminal case. I can now put this behind me and move forward, and I owe it all to him.

So Thankful!!!

Lonnie Hoover is a miracle-worker!

When our family faced turmoil after a relapse earlier this year, we were all feeling cautious and afraid, but knew that it had to be possible to have some of the charges reduced and/or dismissed. Looking at four Class: A Misdemeanors, one Class: C Misdemeanor and a Class: B Felony, as a range 2 offen...der, is terrifying! We knew we had to find the right attorney and find him (or her) quickly. Having grown up in Williamson County, I was familiar with a few of the names of local attorneys I found online, and began calling to inquire about Consultations. Mr. Hoover’s office was the easiest to get on the phone and had the first availability for a Consult that week. After meeting with Mr. Hoover and discussing our situation, honestly, I felt even more confused and anxious on how best to proceed in hiring an attorney. Mr. Hoover knew that I was in a rough place and needed some direction. He made many suggestions on how to most likely receive the best results in court, including rehabilitation options prior to that court date, considering the drug court program, and/or even working for the police, among other things. At first, this was startling to me and I did not think that Mr. Hoover understood me or my situation. However, i continued to talk to friends and family and Mr. Hoover became very highly recommended, with his local history as a judge for many years prior to his current practice. It was still with hesitation when we decided to hire and retain Mr. Hoover to represent my case but we knew he was the best choice if we wanted any chance of forgiveness and leniency- and he sure was, the very best choice! At our court date, my anxiety was through the roof. Just thinking about my daughters and family having to be without me because I messed up and had a temporary lapse of judgement was eating me up inside. When he spotted me in the court room, he began to make his way over to us. As he got closer, his smile continued to grow, until he was beaming in front of us. We held our breaths, knowing the news from his talk with the DA’s office had to be either really good or really bad.. Mr. Hoover delivered even better news than we had imagined! Due to his insight and knowledge on Williamson County laws and court system, he had provided the best recommendations, which not only allowed me to receive the help and treatment I desperately needed, but also helped keep our family together, strong and supportive. We are truly amazed and blessed by the work of Mr. Hoover and his ability to have my charges changed, to plead guilty to only two Class: A Misdemeanors. My family and I cannot be more proud of what Mr. Hoover was able to accomplish, and we definitely highly recommend him for anyone needing the best Criminal Defense Attorney in our area!
