Good Advocate
Brittany managed my custody matter in Maury County. After a 9 hour trial we were successful in modifying a very contested custody matter. She was attentive, responsive and stood up for me and my children.

Terrible experience
One of the worst experience with a business professional. Full of false promises. Had 8 weeks of no movement on my case, she stated she filed multiple documents on my behalf and had a hearing set. She did not serve my ex on time and nothing was ever filed by her on my behalf. Do not recommend. Sh...
It is disappointing that you feel as if you had a poor experience. The full retainer was not paid in full in this specific matter, and despite this, extensive work was performed on both pending cases. Work performed on a case that turned into a highly contested divorce resulted in legal fees being incurred that far exceeded what was paid to the law office and also exceeded the total retainer fee should it have been paid. Additionally, please be mindful that retainer agreements outline whether a case is flat fee or billed at an hourly rate. Documents were prepared and filed, a court appearance occurred with another court date scheduled. This work was performed timely. Communication was consistent. Invoices were also heavily discounted as a courtesy to the client. We wish you the best of luck in the future.

Brittany helped me through a nearly 2 year probate case.
Gates Law and I just completed a nearly 2 year long probate case involving over 5 different parties and countless red tape and legal roadblocks. Brittany worked with not only me, but other parties involved and made everything simple and much less complicated so that we could understand and make the ...

Uncontested divorce
I was a client of Brittany Kurdziel. I had filed an uncontested divorce in davidson county. I hired Brittany to finish the divorce for $750. I'm no closer to being divorced and I have to hire another attorney for $1000 to get it done.
In order to maintain confidentiality I will not address this specific client by name, nor will I go into specific details regarding the case. When a new client retains an attorney after a complaint has been filed pro se, many issues arise, as was the case here. Without the assistance of a legal professional at the time of filing, the pro se litigant filed the complaint for divorce in the improper county. After filing pleadings with the court, the Judge determined that the proper place to file this matter was in another county and by statute, he was unable to grant the divorce in this specific county. My job was to move the case forward, rather than having it dismissed. After the proper jurisdiction was determined, I submitted all necessary pleadings to the court to have the case properly transferred. Because our retainer agreement was specifically for an uncontested divorce in a specific county, a new retainer agreement would have had to be signed to allow me to continue representing this client outside of the county the case was initially filed and the retainer would have included my time for travel and drafting another MDA. Please contact me at your earliest convenience as I am still receiving updated information on your case. Please contact my work cell phone at 615-517-9490 as soon as possible. Thank you
"I endorse this lawyer. Brittany is opposing counsel in a case and advocates fiercely for her client."
