Excellent Trial Lawyer

Mr. Whittelsey represented me in a complex civil case. The case was tried by jury and a verdict was returned in my favor for more than one million dollars. The jury verdict was much higher than the amount offered before trial. He and his staff did a great job.

Best Trial lawyer in Lee County

Mr. Whittelsey represented me in a complex murder case and I was found not guilty. I researched Mr. Whittelsey's trial results since the year 2000. The ONLY verdicts in the over 20 criminal cases he tried were NOT GUILTY. Look it up.

Needs to be disbarred and prosecuted.

We hired Davis in 2017 for 5 class a felonies, very serious charges, in which we proceeded to ignore the case for the following 3 years. He directed his office to withhold information, cancel meetings he requested, and refuse phone calls/messages. We eventually had to hire another lawyer and the iss...ues were resolved in a matter of months, all without any help/input from Davis. I believe he, the AD, the bonds guy present in the jail, and possibly others are running a ring to keep up with quotas and maximize profits (RICO?). When my case was dismissed, we didn't find out for months because Davis was somehow unaware, even though the courts later provided proof they contacted him. Needs to be jailed.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
