I called Ms. Poynter 1 day before court due to having to find a new attorney. She was gracious, professional, and calmed my nerves. We got an appointment that day and she was in court with us the next morning. She was able to get a continuance which allowed for evidence to be gathered and witnesses... called. At every meeting with her, she was professional, to the point, and a calming but powerful force in the confusing world of child support/family court. I was convinced I would not find an attorney who would work for the father fairly in a child support issue, no matter who was right or wrong. But Ms. Poynter was in my corner from day one.
