I live in Texas. In June 2013, I was visiting my brother at his request in Fairhope, Alabama after the death of his wife. One of my brother's deceased wife's relatives falsely accused me of a criminal act. And, unbeknownst to me, an arrest warrant was issued for me. I heard a rumor about the arrest warrant which shocked me as I did not know the person who issued the warrant. And, I did not know the reasons for it. I believe the relative was trying to harrass me and to intimidate me. But, I was absolutely afraid for my life as I've never even had a parking ticket or a speeding ticket in my 73 years here on Earth!!
A friend recommended Mr. Joseph Allan Shaw to me. I called his office, and I spoke with his assistant, Deborah. She was very knowledgeable...she contacted Mr. Shaw...My brother and I met both of them at his office. Mr. Shaw, too, is very knowledgeable. He took my case. He kept me informed every step of the way.
As I had never been in that part of Alabama, Mr. Shaw drove my brother and me to Bay Minette, Alabama to a bail bonding company to post bail...walked me across the street to the jail where I turned myself in...I was "processed," i.e., fingerprinted, photographed...took several hours...Mr. Shaw waited for me. We returned to his office at 10:00PM that night.
A preliminary Hearing was held on Thursday, July 25, 2013. Mr. Shaw had witnesses to testify on my behalf that I did not commit the criminal act. But, they didn't testify because Mr. Shaw did such a GREAT job cross examining the prosecution's witness that the Judge dismissed the case right then for lack of evidence.
I'm eternally grateful and thankful to Mr. Shaw for his help. He can help you, too.
