I feel that can't give enough praise to Mr. Shaw about his services. He saw me through a very, very complex, 18 month long divorce/child custody case that involved multiple out of state jurisdictions, a number of personal issues and a very tragic event. I retained the services of Mr. Shaw through a word of mouth recommendation roughly 9 months into my case. I am a handicapped/crippled, elderly, 74-year-old lady with NO previous criminal history of ANY kind!!!!! I've had 2+ fugitive arrest warrants issued for me even though the Judges in each case dismissed them. The Baldwin County District Attorney's office keeps presenting false charges against me to a secret Grand Jury who indicts me secretly and the District Attorney's office secretly issues a fugitive arrest warrant for me. This has been going on for one solid year...since July 2013. I am NOT a fugitive, AND I'm a little weary of the process...having to travel from my home in Texas to Bay Minette to go through the jail arrest; photographing/fingerprinting; bonding out, etc. AND, in June 2014, the fugitive arrest warrant was for NO bond. I live in Texas. In June 2013, I was visiting my brother at his request in Fairhope, Alabama after the death of his wife. One of my brother's deceased wife's relatives falsely accused me of a criminal act. And, unbeknownst to me, an arrest warrant was issued for me. I heard a rumor about the arrest warrant which shocked me as I did not know the person who issued the warrant. And, I did not know the reasons for it. I believe the relative was trying to harrass me and to intimidate me. But, I was absolutely afraid for my life as I've never even had a parking ticket or a speeding ticket in my 73 years here on Earth!! A friend recommended Mr. Joseph Allan Shaw to me. As I had never been in that part of Alabama, Mr. Shaw drove my brother and me to Bay Minette, Alabama to a bail bonding company to post bail...walked me across the street to the jail where I turned myself in...I was "processed," i.e., fingerprinted, photographed...took several hours...Mr. Shaw waited for me. We returned to his office at 10:00PM that night. A preliminary Hearing was held on Thursday, July 25, 2013. Mr. Shaw had witnesses to testify on my behalf that I did not commit the criminal act. But, they didn't testify because Mr. Shaw did such a GREAT job cross examining the prosecution's witness that the Judge dismissed the case right then for lack of evidence. I'm eternally grateful and thankful to Mr. Shaw for his help. He can help you, too.

What I thought would be a complex multi-state emergency custody petition got satisfactorily handled and concluded by Mr Shaw and I even got a refund on my retainer!!!
