Dana Delk

I have a very tough problem in which my wife cheated on me for 8 years and I have two children who are not biologically mine, which I just found out in the last 6 months. After talking with Dana and laying out all of the issues with the divorce, she of course told me I need to decide what I want t...o do - persist (support the children, keep parental rights) or do the paternity tests. I had two weeks to decide, as she would need the rest of the time before the hearing to prepare. Fair enough. So I took the two weeks and decided that I needed enough time with the kids to justify the support. This might be harsh, but it is also common sense - why should I support someone else's children and have no opportunity to even spend time with them? My demand was 8 weeks out of the year. I was prepared to spend the money, had my wallet out. I was still talking with an office intermediary at this point, who said she would talk to Dana and get back with me. The answer was that is not how negotiations work, you just make the simple decision of yes or no, then enter negotiations. I am not interested in paying a lawyer who is not going to work for me.
