Catherine Elizabeth Garland

I consulted with Cetherine Garland as i was referred to her by a friend of mine seeking assistance in dissolving my marriage. I was extremely worried about how difficult the process might be as I have children involved. Catherine was very informative and also understanding. In the Summer of 2017, my wife told me she wanted a divorce--rocked my world, caught me off guard, I thought things were good, etc. When it became apparent that none of my efforts to reconcile were going to work, I knew I needed a lawyer. After meeting with her, I knew she was the lawyer I needed. Catherine and her office were remarkably responsive; I joked with a colleague I felt like I had 24/7 and online support. She was not only knowledgeable, but has a wisdom and confidence that is apparent. And she is brutally honest--I didn't get everything I wanted, necessarily, but I got a really good agreement put in place where I keep the house and get joint custody of my children. At one point, the ex-wife threatened to tell her lawyer to file for divorce and take our differences to court. Catherine reached out to the other lawyer, talked everyone off the ledge and within a week we had an agreement I was willing to sign. I have never heard of a lawyer doing such a thing before. Catherine's office was awesome, too; everyone was 100% professional and responsive. I would HIGHLY recommend Catherine Garland to anyone needing a divorce lawyer. This was the worst thing I have ever been through, but Catherine was able to calm the waters and kept me sane during the final steps.

Catherine and the staff at Bill Hall Law Firm were amazing. I had a, maybe not unique, but very rare situation with my custody battle. It was new territory for all involved. Extra work was put in to gain knowledge on how to navigate the situation. While she obviously had other clients, I never felt l...ike I was put 2nd to any other cases and always received prompt responses to questions I would have. She made sure that I didn't get my expectations up and prepare for the most likely of outcomes. (Spoiler alert: I had a much better outcome than anyone would have thought). I was also given tasks, like gathering call logs and other menial tasks, to help save myself some money. So even though those hourly rates hurt the pocket book, her professionalism and attitude towards taking care of her clients makes it well worth the cost for anyone trying to get through what is likely a tough time.
