Nora (through the NXTSTEP practice in Huntsville, AL) did a fantastic job with my divorce-related case in the fall of 2019. She took a no-nonsense, serious approach to my defense. My paperwork was repeatedly riddled with mistakes every time, despite my already submitting corrections to her initial incorrect work. It was as if the corrections supplied had not been seen or were disregarded. Nora flipped and went back on her advice at every turn and I never felt secure with my re...presentation and had a constant uneasiness throughout the entire process. On top of this, the papers were always delinquent even after several requests for them even by my former spouse's attorney and it was almost impossible to reach Ms. Hickman. My divorce was largely delayed do to her delinquencies and discrepancies, thus creating further issues with my former spouse. Ms. Hickman's services were far below mediocre, at best, and due to her lack of professionalism and work ethic, the outcome of my divorce proceedings were very unfortunate. I do not recommend any involvement with Ms. Hickman in regard to representation for any situation.
