Ken Baumann grew up in Panama City Florida where he was active in his school and community. After completing High School Ken attended Auburn University and obtained a degree in Chemical Engineering and began a career in manufacturing where he worked for companies such as Clorox, Valspar, and Eastman Chemical.
After working in manufacturing for over a decade, Ken decided to expand his abilities and get a law degree. Ken received a J.D. from the Birmingham School of Law, graduating with honors and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar.
