David O'Brien Gatch

Very disappointed in Mr. Gatch. I called him to help with my case in getting my children back. Talked with him per video call (Facetime). Told him my story and all. He got my paperwork from years ago and kept telling me that he would meet with me here in Clanton, AL. Said he would meet me at the cour...thouse on Monday and I never heard from him so I messaged him…he stated he was busy in court all day. Gave me the run around and told me he would then meet me at the courthouse that same Wednesday at 9:30am. Said he would send instructions on where I need to come and so on. I never received a text..no call..no instructions whatsoever. Very unorganized. Thanks a lot for leading me on and not doing what you said you would do.

I am 65 years old and this is my seventh child custody case. This case was a bit different in that I was seeking to gain custody of a child that is not mine and take him to another state which is my residence. David gave me a flat fee (Half of what I paid another attorney in another county for the ...same type case) that was very reasonable. During the case (In court five times) David made recommendation that I grudgingly agreed with. The last five minutes of court I felt we had lost based on the Judges questions. When we went to trial, he carefully prepared me, he questioned my witnesses, he cross examined my wife's witnesses, and he submitted all my evidence . He did not miss a beat. This man is trustworthy. My divorce is done. I am satisfied with his performance, and I would hire him again. My divorce was hard, and he helped me.
