He was paid up front, that was a big mistake, told me I didn't owe anything else, that was a lie. At first he seemed okay but all he did was,just telling me what he thought I wanted to hear. We had to do a lot of the things he was hired to do, not just one time but several. After he put my case off f...or what I still don't really know. He has no office we had to meet with him in the public, like at fast food places...He failed to defend us in trial, it seemed like I took my self to trial that day. He failed to file our sapennos but nobody showed up..., he never let us know what was really going on before trial, he never prepared us before trial. He told me I had him for the whole day, that was a lie to. In trial he never spoke a word on our behalf, he hands out copies of our evidence, it was ink smeared they couldn't even read what I was trying to present to the judge. He handed me one at first then took it back and gave to my defendant couldn't even see it must less read it. ld think when my main wittness didn't show he should have put it off. I feel like everyone in court that day knowedhe done me wrong. He didn't reject to the first thing basically egnored me in clanton court that day. When he said he rest his case, he jumped up and said I got a trial to go to!!!!.. Remember I supposed to had all day ,after that I had one 2 or3 minute phone, him doing the talking he wouldn't let us ask one??? Until this day nothing, he is a over paid att.I strongly advise anyone who hires this------- don't, but if you do don't and I mean don't pay in full...I traveled over thousand miles one way, made several trips because of him putting off court, never told me anything until I was in clanton alabama. All the secatery work I did he used zero of it in trial, He's acowerd In my book,take somebody's money like that, and want even talk to me on the phone...some kind of Att. I believe he's got a bad drinking problem, that's all he cared to talk about..I don't understand how people like that in times like this how he must feel.. I RECOMMEND JUST ABOUT ANY OTHER ATT.BESIDES HIM ,I DON'T KNOW SEE HOW HE'S GOT REVIEWS LIKE HE DOES, JUST DON'T ADD UPP..TO ME. I've had a lot of att.and he's far the worst, there's some good att in clanton I would recommend...

Mr.Gatch took two years to complete an estate. He took an unreasonable amount of time getting this completed when we did everything he asked us to. When he asked us to complete paperwork we were to do it promptly, which we did, unlike himself. He was very hateful in his responses when we asked questi...ons instead of offering helpful advice. 10/10 DO NOT recommend his business.

Honestly I don't know how well he performs in other areas of practice but when he handled my divorce, it was absolutely a waste of time and money. It was over in minutes without him arguing one single point. I would've been better off keeping my money and just letting my then wife have her way becaus...e that's exactly what happened. It was as if he was afraid of the judge, simply spineless. I pretty much confirmed my identity to the court and bam, it was over. He was so nice to me throughout but when it came time to litigate, the man just rolled over! Documented admissions of her infidelity and her poor parenting were never presented to the court. I left out of there in a daze, feeling like I had been taken advantage of at the most vulnerable time in my life....devastated.

I hired David Gatch to defend me in a DUI case. Once the case was resolved, Mr Gatch decided to meddle in my personal life by forcing me to attend rehab at Bradford, or else he would report to my court referral officer that I wasn't working the "program". We had an argument over the phone, then he c...alled the police on me, which had no merit. He did this because he is a recovering alcoholic. He had no business after court to meddle in my personal life.
