I can't say enough amazing things about Lisa Batts and her firm. As a divorcee with three minor children and an ex-husband who made the experience as difficult as possible, I always felt safe, secure, completely protected, up to date on all information, and very respectfully handled (even when I felt... like I was going crazy). Every person in this office is amazing, and Lisa Batts is not only thorough, well-prepared, honest and upfront, and understanding of the chaos, but has a heart of gold and makes you feel like a person who is being provided with everything you need at all times. I just finished an exhausting 3-year modification lawsuit, and Lisa was amazing!!!! My ex and his family have money, while I do not have money. My ex is always suing me, so the cost of never-ending court fees was scary to me. I felt like my ex and his family were just trying to financially bully m...e and wear me down. Her fees are beyond reasonable, she truly cares about your case, and has sound legal advice. This is in response to the person who mentioned Lisa’s license being suspended in 2013. I was with Lisa during the time her license was suspended in 2013, and she referred me to a very capable attorney. Her suspension had nothing to do with anything unethical that had happened. It was due to a technicality in the way the Florida Bar requires you to run your office, from a business standpoint. She had an office manager that was handling office management and there were a few things that got missed when this person was out of the office for being sick.
