Unfortunately, my worst-case scenario started to become reality and the state attorney filed charges against me. Arrested and in jail, not sure if or when I would ever come out, he came to visit me nearly every day as a friend, counselor and advocate. He worked tirelessly and kept my family and me informed. He was quickly able to show the State Attorney that there was no way I was guilty of what I was being accused of and the charges were dropped. He was a bulldog on my case ; in court he had the look and demeanor of a warrior. He latched on and didn’t let go until justice was served as best as it could be. I was very glad I was not being represented by some of the other attorneys I saw who seemed more interested in sharing jokes or showing off their new iPhones or attaché cases to each other.
