Dishonest, Unprofessional, Unethical, Uncaring
WARNING! BEWARE! DO NOT HIRE MR. WILLIAM REED. I retained Mr. William Reed for my divorce to assist with child support issues. When I met with Mr. Reed at his office he promised me the world and assured me he had all the experience & expertise to handle my case. It is now 5 months later and he ...
This former client is deeply upset at the judge's rulings in his case but he chooses to attack the closest and easiest target; his lawyer. He took it very personally that the judge did not agree with him. Regrettably, such unhappy people can mix together any number of lies, half-truths, false impressions, and misstatements because they believe that they can do so with impunity. Ordinarily, one would be sued for libel for such conduct. After 26 years dealing with high conflict family law cases, I deeply understand that such persons are lashing out in anger and emotional pain, and a libel lawsuit simply creates a vehicle for continuation of such pain. Thus, the seasoned litigator simply absorbs the injustice and moves on. I hope this former client has success in the future and is able to experience some healing.

EXTREMELY UNPROFFESSIONAL
I hired William M Reed in 2008 because I had to urgently file for bankrupcty in 2008 during the recession. During the free consultation he stated he would be there every step of the way. And if I had any questions to call or email him. A few months after hiring him I began to receive mail from the d...
This case closed over six years ago and the client was very happy with his services. He has not contacted me since then until submitting this review. If a creditor is hassling him, I would have gladly helped him with the problem. I am disappointed that he chose such a confrontational way to communicate.

His error is costing me more money!
We moved to Florida from another state and had to convert from a 13 to a 7. In the process our home was not rolled into the 7. He now wants more money and a consultation fee to even meet and discuss our option and how to resolve an issue that should have been resolved at the conversion.
Regrettably, this client's prior creditor appears to be violating the fair debt collection act. Unfortunately, she wishes for my firm to investigate this matter, but does not wish to compensate the firm for doing so. I must devote my time to clients that are paying me for my services.

Look for a better attorney
Mr. Reed did not represent me well at mediation at all. Rather all he did was concede to everything my ex wanted.
Unfortunately, this description does not match any of my current or recent clientele, and therefore the source of the review is questionable. If this is a valid review, I certainly would have appreciated the input earlier when I could have assisted the client more effectively.

You get what you pay for
Sometimes looking for a deal isn't a great idea when hiring a lawyer. He seemed scattered brained and was very unprepared. Getting ahold of him was a nightmare. My case was finally solved in my favor but the stress induced by this poorly conducted law firm hardly made it worth it. I'll find someone e...

"I have known Mr. Reed for more than 15 years and have worked closely with him in numerous litigation case and domestic relations cases. He has always show the highest degree of ethics and professional courtesies. I also have the pleasure of referring him clients in need of advice on bankruptcy proceedings and the reports from clients is that he is very responsive and professional. I would highly recommend Mr. Reed and his firm and I do refer Mr. Reed clients on a regular basis."
