Mr Hobby was hired by myself back in 11/2020 and the last time he has done anything for my active modification case and relocation was in January 2022 per the Lake County Clerk of courts and has not responded to me since February 2nd, 2022 via email stating he would set an emergency relocation hearin...g as soon as possible. That was the last time I've heard from him and he took $2500 01/19/2022 to complete the relocation and eventually for the remodification of my parenting plan. He has disconnected his personal phone and his business Facebook page says permanently closed. He does not respond to my emails and when I called his business number and left a message, I don't heat from anyone. I will definitely be reporting this to the Florida Bar and making a police report. He has done this to others as well per YELP reviews just recently against him. He will not get away with this. How dare you pray on people who truly just needed your help and gave you money that they couldn't even really afford. His personal Facebook page is saved now too and I can see how he is surely living it up with all the clients money on vacation with his new fiance that's definitely enjoying the money too!!

Hired Mr. Ryan Hobby in Nov, 2021 to file my uncontested divorce. Paid him in full including filing fees. He told me I would have my finally documents within two weeks. Tried contacting him many times and he is not responding. I would not recommend this lawyer. For all those he has done this too, can... we please make a joint complain and file it on him. I retained Mr. Hobby 5/20/21 with a fee of $1500 for an uncontested divorce. I gave him all the necessary information and confirmed with him that he didn’t need anything else on my end. After he took my money he sent me a vague email with excuses and I never heard from him again! I would call the num...ber for his office periodically afterwards and was eventually informed that the number was for a call center and all they could do was forward the call to him. I eventually stopped calling because it would get me nowhere. I’ve seen a few other reviews stating that he did the same thing to others. I plan to file a complaint through the bar.
