My wife and I were purchasing our dream home and were under contract with the sellers. Two weeks before closing, they decided to pull out of the contract. If Honest Lawyer = Oxymoron... Matt Foreman MUST be an Oxymoron! I have been working with Matt for the past 3 years on my divorce case. In those 3 years I have grown to trust Mr Foreman not only as my attorney but as a friend. I can recall an instance about a year ago where I had called and ...left not only a voice message with his secretary but had also sent an email with some issues I needed resolved. Mr Foreman is usually VERY quick to respond, but after a week of not hearing back from him I decided to follow up with him just in case. He was extremely apologetic for not getting back to me sooner and was visibly upset with his secretary for not handing him the message in a timely manner. I can honestly say that happened once and once only. Matthew hasn't only been my attorney through my divorce, but has also been a friend, voice of reason, confidant and a little bit of a therapist through this ordeal (divorce is stressful)! Everything he has said he is/was going to do, he has followed up and kept his word with each instance. He is hard working, honest, reliable, intelligent and kind. I know I know.. those adjectives don't usually describe a lawyer! Well, you haven't met Matt Foreman yet! Matt's job as my attorney is to guide and represent me, he knows his job and he does it well. He never forces anything on me, rather he just uses his knowledge, skill and expertise to guide me down what he feels is not only a good path for me, but for all involved. He takes into consideration the negative repercussions things may have in which I may not have had enough foresight to make an informed decision. If you are looking for a sleazy type attorney who is only interested in what he/she can gain from you, this is not the attorney you are looking for. If you are looking for someone who has your best interest at heart, gives you honest and truthful advice and will work for you, give Mr Matthew Foreman a call, you won't be disappointed. I'm more than happy to write this positive review for Matthew, and not just because we won our case, (which we did) but because of how I was treated as a client. As a client I felt understood, cared about and important to him. My custody case was rather long, lasting almost 3 years. Matthew mainta...ined the same concerned and caring attitude and approach through out the entire process. This was by no means a slam dunk case. This required mass amounts of patience, intelligence and positive reinforcement. As a father fighting for full custody this was always an uphill battle. Though the law has evolved to give the father more/equal rights it is still very hard as a father to get that treatment...its understandable why a court may favor a mother sometimes, but that doesn't make it right. My point is, that through this 3 year battle Matthew always made time for me, always explained my positions, always gave me the correct advice (Not just advice I wanted to hear, but advice I needed to hear) remembered important facts when I could not, and most important NEVER lost focus. It's difficult to put into words how I really feel about this entire process. Its been a roller coaster of a ride, as one would expect. I'm just so very thankful I had Matt riding it a long with me. I couldn't have done it without him, and his abilities in the judicial arena were just perfect. Thank you Matt, thank you very very much!!!
