I was charged with DUI in November 2019. My reading was slightly over the limit. I had a consultation with him and he told me that he could get the charge reduced to reckless driving, which is what was hoping to hear. He charged me $2000 up front and just before I left he got me to sign a retainer, ...which I didn't have time to read. He filed a request for a hardship license, for 6 weeks, which I could have done myself. When it expired he told me he could not get an extension, so my license was suspended. I was ordered to appear in court in February 2020 but he did not appear so my hearing was deferred. This went on for the next 18 months. He kept claiming that the state attorney would not answer his calls. Whenever I called him he would not answer the phone. I eventually called and left a message in July 2021, telling him that I was going to contact the state attorney myself and within a week he was able to get hold of the state attorney and have the charge reduced. In July 2021. I appeared in court and he was not there to represent me. While my case was being heard the judge noticed that he had not signed the paperwork. In order for the case to be resolved I had to fire him. My advice to anybody who needs to hire an attorney is stay clear of this man.

I am taking a moment to write this review on the behalf of Eric, because Eric changed my opinion about lawyers (which wasn't very high). I have found Eric to be more than a stand up guy. He did what he said he would do for me, but he never made any promises as to the outcome of my case. Note-if a att...orney ever makes you a promise of your case outcome, RUN! This man went well above and beyond in helping me gain time with my daughter. While Eric did not handle my acctual divorce, he did take over after it became apparent that I would be in need of help to file contempt of court charges. Eric has been through it with me thick and thin when it comes to my daughter. I haven't had to use him in a couple of years, but I bonded with this guy. I still send him regular updates and pictures of my daughter. If I ever needed any family law help in the Sumpter, Lake, or Marion County areas I would not hesitate one single second in hiring this gentleman to represent you. He has always responded quickly to my phone calls, and his fees were more than reasonable. This guy would show up in a wheel chair if need be-that's how far this man went for me. He was a pit bull in the court room and a friend outside of it. My ex-wife hates him. Enough said! Travis T

ATTORNEY TOOK $1000 WITH KNOWLEDGE THAT CAS WAS GOING TO BE DROPPED, USED SCARE TACTICS TO OB TAIN RETAINER, NOTIFIED BY CLIENT FOLLOWING DAY THAT CASE WAS IN FACT DROPPED, DID NOT HAVE TO APPEAR IN COURT,ATTORNEY WOULD NOT REFUND MONEY, WE HAD TO PICK U COURT DOCUMENTS FROM COURT, HE NEVER DID A THI...NG BUT LINE HIS POCKET!

I hired this attorney for my divorce in July 2012 and payed $3,500 retainer fee. Shortly thereafter he ran his car into a building and was severely injured and could not practice law for a long time. Nothing had been done at this time in my case, as a fact, my phone calls were mostly never returned o...r no one answered the phone.... I have witnesses to this! I have not a single piece of paper in my hand that shows he has even contacted my husband's attorney with a counter to his requests, besides signing up in court to take my case. When I asked for my money back he refused, said my case would be taken over by another attorney friend. The "other" attorney stated she will get the money from Mr Evilsizer, did nothing for me and after 7 months I had to hire another attorney 1 week before a deposition that my husband's attorney had ordered and I was not able to get my phone calls to my attorney returned! I had to hire another attorney for another $3,000 who handled my divorce in 3 months. When I requested from Mr Evelsizer the return of my retainer or at least a good part of it, he stated I signed a paper that the retainer was "NON REFUNDEABLE"! Is this a trustworthy person who cannot defend a client due to illness but does not refund their money??? The "other" attorney, a Mrs. Roxeanne now states that she never had taken over my case although I have letters from her who state otherwise. Neither one of them will refund my retainer money! I now have to and will contact the Attorney General to get him to order the refund of my money and serve JUSTICE! My advise to anyone is: DO NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY AND IF YOU DO, WHATEVER HAPPENS, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
