I don’t think you can truly represent someone unless you try to understand them—not just their case, but their story. That’s why I prefer to meet in person when possible.

I’ve had cases where I was skeptical at first—minor-looking damage, no immediate injuries—but once I sat down with the client and heard her story, everything changed.

One woman had never even filed a claim before. She was honest, detailed, and surprised by how badly she was hurting. After hearing her story, I asked the adjuster to meet her. They did—and paid the full policy.

Then there are cases where the person looks bad on paper. One client had a criminal record. But when I met him and saw how he treated his stepkids—how he helped raise children who weren’t his, how his elderly foster parents gave up their bed so he could recover from surgery—it changed everything.

His story mattered. We told it, and we settled that case for $1.5 million.
