A divorce is one of the most difficult life experiences. Seeking to minimize conflict and stress on the client is essential. Being able to vigorously represent a person while minimizing the trauma and uncertainty of ending a marriage comes from having experience and understanding the needs of the client.

The practice of law has two main areas, office practice that deals with preparing legal documents and advising clients about the rules and regulations that impact their activities and trial lawyers who help clients resolve disputes through the litigation process. I have been a trial lawyer since my internship as a law student. In the 36 years since that internship I have been granted the honor of assisting literally hundreds of people resolve their legal issues through the court system.

Irresponsible behavior by corporations and individuals all too often causes serious physical and emotional injuries to others. I have assisted many people and their families deal with the personal and economic costs of such negligence, whether it was a poorly maintained business premise that caused a fall, products that cause injuries or a traffic collision that ended a life.

Patents, copyrights and trademarks are valuable and all can be infringed by either mistake or intent. Whenever they are, an experienced trial lawyer can protect the rights of the true owner.
