Andrew T. Hibbert is a lifelong Floridian who was born in Orlando and then grew up in Islamorada in the Florida Keys. After graduating high school, Andrew went back to Orlando to attend the University of Central Florida. It was during his freshman year when Andrew took his first law class, and immediately found his calling, criminal defense. After majoring in pre-law at UCF, Andrew attended Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg, to pursue his law degree.
Andrew interned at a criminal defense firm in Bradenton while attending Stetson Law. He credits this experience as not only fueling his fire for criminal defense, but also exposing him early in his career to everything from DUI cases to briefs for the Second District Court of Appeals. Andrew began his career defending those accused of crimes in Bradenton and Sarasota immediately after he graduated law school in 2011. It was just two years later that Andrew and Colleen formed their partnership and opened their Sarasota office. Throughout his legal career, Andrew has only handled criminal cases because that is his true passion, and it shows. His unwavering commitment and dedication to his clients are beyond contestation. Andrew thrives in the courtroom and is a true example of what hard work, dedication and aggressive representation should look like in a lawyer. A fiery advocate, he settles for nothing less than the best result for all our clients.
Andrew also stays loyal to his alma mater and attends most UCF home football games. It was at one football game in September of 2010, when Andrew met Rachel, his wife since 2013. In his free time Andrew enjoys spending time with Rachel and their son Brandon. He loves to travel, go to local breweries and can be found cheering on his fantasy players throughout the entire football season.
