I practiced all types of litigation in West Virginia for over 20 years and then moved to Florida. Instead of diving back into the adversarial world of litigation, I wanted to serve individuals in a way that was personal and positive. That's why I decided to practice Estate Planning and Probate in Florida. I began my practice shortly after being admitted to the Florida Bar in June of 2014. I began writing Wills, Powers of Attorney, Advance Directives and Trusts and probating small to medium estates. I also began advising small business owners in the day-to-day legal matters which come up from time to time. I love my little Englewood practice.

WHEN YOU NEED A PROFESSIONAL
Thank you to Anne and staff for doing the legal work I was not aware of and was not equipped to do in my time of mourning. Thank you for your professionalism especially during those times I kept asking when will this be over!

"I have had the opportunity to work with Anne on contested probate matters, and I am happy to endorse her. I am impressed by her empathy for her clients and her advocacy on their behalf. Anne brings a unique perspective based on her years of experience as trial lawyer in West Virginia, and she is a welcome addition to the Bar of Southwest Florida."

Plaintiff's cause of action which is new is, never the less, valid; and public policy dictates that West Virginia comparative negligence will apply as Maryland's law is repugnant to that public policy.
