I lived in Jackson County, Florida before moving to Manatee County at age 9. I've lived in Manatee County ever since. I attended school at Palmetto High School, received my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida, and my law degree from Stetson University College of Law. I have worked as both a prosecutor at the State Attorney's Office in Bradenton, and also as an Assistant Public Defender. This well rounded legal background has honed my skills as a zealous advocate for my clients.

Highly recommend
I highly recommend Kristy Guy Zinna! I could not be happier with the service I got from her. Not only was she attentive and answered my endless questions, she also worked hard to get all my paperwork drawn up quickly for me. My divorce was finalized in less than a month with her help. "Kristy is a fierce advocate. Her attention to detail and thorough experience in her practice area makes her a force to be reckoned with. As a colleague, I admire Kristy's dedication to her clients and knowledge of the law. As a friend, I admire her ability to demand the best for her clients and be attentive to their needs and the traumatic nature of their experience. I had a law professor once say, "there are very few 'good days' in family court", and I know this to be true. But, even though the case may be rough, with Kristy, her clients will know that they are receiving the best representation from an attorney with the best heart."
"Kristy Zinna is one of the most impressive attorneys in Manatee County. The time, effort, and dedication she puts in on behalf of her clients is nothing short of extraordinary. If you are ever facing the stress of a family law issue, Kristy is the one to go to. I highly endorse Kristy Zinna."
"Kristy is professional, knowledgeable, and well-prepared in all matters. She follows up with her clients, answering their questions and guiding them through their cases involving difficult and sensitive issues. I would recommend her to any person looking for a competent family law attorney."
"Ms. Zinna is an excellent attorney in and out of the courtroom. She is extremely knowledgeable of the law, and she is well respected in the legal community among judges and fellow attorneys. If someone is looking to hire an intelligent, competent, and caring attorney, they can turn to Ms. Zinna. I endorse this lawyer."
"Kristy and I worked together for several years and she was far and away the best person in her position. She's the total package: she understands her clients and their cases, she takes an even-handed view of the case and then goes on to advocate for the best outcome possible. While we no longer work together, I still call her for her thoughts, insights and ideas."
"Kristy is an excellent attorney, who works tirelessly to get the best results for her clients. Having worked both with, and against Kristy in numerous matters, I can attest that she is a tireless worker, and an excellent courtroom advocate. Kristy is a shrewd negotiator, and I would recommend her to anyone injured in an accident or in need of a family law attorney."
"I met Ms. Zinna when I started trying cases against her in 2008. She was an assistant prosecutor and I was an assistant public defender. Her work was so impressive that our office offered her a position as an assistant public defender, which she took. We worked as trial partners for many years and have tried more cases together than I can remember. Ms. Zinna and I have continued to work together in private practice, where she excels at just about everything she touches. Any client who retains Ms. Zinna will be enjoying the best possible legal representation. She's a credit to the profession, and as a community, we're lucky to have her."
"Kristy is an amazing attorney. Any client would be lucky to hire her. She is a consummate professional who strongly advocates for her client's best interest."
