Great company and great attorney

So helpful with the process of going through the military records to get a better and more reliable disability rating. Answered all questions along the way

SATISFIED

I was referred to Leslie Dean by a close friend. What I experienced was some of the best customer service that I have ever received. They always returned all messages and was very easy to contact. Answered all questions that I had and made sure that I understood what was going on with my claim. I’ve ...referred at least four people to Leslie Dean’s Law Office and they all tell me that they are VERY SATISFIED. If you are a veteran who believes you have a claim, I URGE you to contact Leslie Dean. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED

Profoundly Disappointing Experience and Concerning Treatment at Leslie Dean’s Law Firm

After engaging with Leslie Dean's Law Firm in hopes of receiving professional legal assistance for my VA claims, I have found my experience to be deeply disappointing. It has highlighted a concerning lack of empathy and professionalism from a firm that claims to specialize in such sensitive matters. ... Severe Personal Challenges: I am a veteran living with PTSD as a result of my service, currently facing extremely difficult personal circumstances, including homelessness, suicidal ideation, and the arrival of my first child. My decision to reach out to Leslie Dean Law Firm was made in a state of desperation and hope for assistance in navigating my VA claims during this critical period in my life. Lack of Understanding/Empathy: As a veteran struggling with PTSD, I reached out to Leslie Dean Law Firm for help, expecting a level of understanding and support. Despite attempting to convey the seriousness of my distress and the effort it took me to reach out for help, I felt my concerns were seemingly minimized and dismissed. Communication: Initially, Leslie Dean Law Firm sent sporadic emails and periodic updates suggesting that my case was under consideration and progress was imminent, yet this never materialized. When I sought clarification, the responses failed to address my actual needs or concerns, leaving me more frustrated than assisted. Condescending Remarks: Leslie Dean Law Firm’s suggestions that I was confused or that my tone was inappropriate, given my current mental and emotional state, felt not just condescending but also demonstrated a deep lack of sensitivity. It's concerning when a legal firm fails to consider the emotional and psychological states of its clients, particularly those who have served. Concerning Business Practices: It seems a possible increase in demand for Leslie Dean Law Firm’s services has led to a distressing attitude where the firm feels it can afford to be selective to the point of neglecting certain individuals due to an abundance of clients, reflects poorly on their commitment to veterans' well-being. It is clear that Leslie Dean Law Firm prioritizes having clients file an Intent to File (ITF) early, seemingly to increase their own compensation rather than promptly addressing veterans' needs. This idea was reinforced by the firm's automated emails urging me to file an ITF, despite my clear communication that I had already done so prior to seeking their help. Then reinforced again when a team member responded to my concerns by prioritizing the ITF filing and back pay potential over the urgency of my situation, capped by the statement, "Unless your previous denials are within the last year, we can't move you up on the list." It's truly disheartening to feel more like a revenue opportunity than a client in need of compassionate, professional assistance. Urgent Needs Dismissed: With the birth of my first child approaching, I reached out to Leslie Dean Law Firm again to communicate the urgency of my situation, hoping for an expedited review or some form of reassurance. Instead, I was bluntly informed of my position as #33 on the list and reminded of the inherently slow VA process. However, both the VA and DAV had offered to expedite my claim, a critical option that was seemingly ignored or overlooked by the firm. Also, despite my claims being within the last year—a detail initially shared in my inquiry—their responses overlooked this critical information, indicating a failure to genuinely review or understand my case. Service Termination: Ultimately, I was informed that due to a so-called "conflict of interest" and Leslie Dean Law Firm's assessment that we were not a good fit, my case would not be handled by them. The decision was communicated as a directive from Ms. Leslie Dean. This abrupt termination, without genuine engagement with my case or consideration of my urgent needs, was both surprising and disheartening. Anonymous Veteran Reviews
