Hired Morris and DuPont to handle a loan modification for me in October of 2010. Paid 2500, everything they did, I could have done for myself. The loan mod failed, then I decided for a different approach, a deed in lieu of foreclosure. The deed in lieu also failed. I was served foreclosure papers an...d the very next day, an email was sent” client was served xx/xx/2011; start billing. I had spoken with Ms. DuPont about this and she very careful implied that she wouldn’t charge the fee but never actually stated she wouldn’t charge me. My complaints are this: signed a contract for house to be on the MLS; never was listed, no lock box ever put on home. Guess they thought since I live out of state, I would never check. There were months without any contact, no guidance was ever provided, when did speak to me, were asking for things, I never knew I needed. Biggest issue was that the attorney I was working with was fired; I wasn’t informed of this until I called months later. The emails to the attorney weren’t bouncing back.

Economic and Health issues required dramatic lifestyle alterations. Ms. duPont's efforts and staff support have been exceptional in achieving a loan modification offer as well as further alternative actions,if necessary.Her overall handling of this most stressful time has been most welcomed and a...ppreciated.
