Chae duPont and her staff have helped us on many occasions and we are always very satisfied with their attention to detail and efficiency. Over the past half century, I have had several occasions, both in my businesses and for personal needs, to deal and interact with attorneys. A few have become friends through time. However, for the most part I developed a somewhat cynical opinion of lawyers as a whole. Condescending, impersonal an...d impassionate is how I would describe most of those in the legal profession. How refreshingly different it was over the course of a year and a half of representation by Chae and her wonderful staff at Morris-DuPont. They worked as hard for me as if they were doing so on behalf of a family member. Always friendly and never condescending. Very knowledgeable and professional. Always followed through on every issue. Never failed to return a call expeditiously. And where the partners of most large law firms would seldom be in contact with a client personally, Chae DuPont would be as likely to initiate, return or accept a phone call or email as any of her staff members did. As different as the above-described experience was, so was their fee structure. Yes, they do request the usual practice of collecting an up-front retainer fee. But it was modest and fair. Unlike most lawyers, they did not have their hand out for money after every conversation, interaction or correspondence with the “other side.” In the end they prevailed in our case. But I would have given Chae and her firm a glowing review even if we had not. They literally worked their butts off on my behalf and I firmly believe they would do the same for you.

After retiring from my job as a federal law enforcement officer in 2011, my monthly pension turned out to be half of what I was making when I was employed with the federal government. The stress was mounting by the day, causing sleepless nights for more than 3 years and relationship problems between ...my wife and me. My loan was modified in the following ways: 1) interest rate lowered form 6.625% down to 3.31285% for years 1 - 5 and 4.1% for years 5 - loan maturity [no longer an interest-only loan], 2) a $2,260.37 reduction in monthly payments, 3) still 22 years for loan maturity [I have been in my home 8 years], 4) principal reduction/forgiveness of $406,630.90 [this is not a typo!!!]. Summary: Monthly Savings on Mortgage Payments: $2,260.37; Annual Savings: $27,124.44; Savings Through Loan Maturity: $596,737.68; Principal Forgiveness: $406,630.90; Total Savings: $1,003,368.50. I went from being underwater to having equity in my home now!!! These results that I now am the benefactor of are all because of the Top Notch, Class A legal work performed by the Law Office of Morris | duPont. They are true professionals and definitely know their craft a whole lot better than I do!!! I can now sleep a lot better at night knowing that I can stay in my dream home!!! My amazing and personal results that I have listed above are not to impress any of you. Chae duPont is a great attorney and advocate for homeowners. From the initial consultation, I got the sense that she really cares about her clients.
