Exceptional Attorney & Staff—Compassionate, Knowledgeable, and Dedicated

I highly recommend Attorney Alex Villatte and the entire team at Ruhl Law. Dealing with criminal charges against my sons was an incredibly difficult and stressful time as a mother, but the support we received made all the difference. Attorney Villatte has been compassionate, highly knowledgeable, and... exceptionally responsive, even returning calls and emails after business hours. He is dedicated, honest, and took the time to clearly explain every step. I also want to specifically recognize Makinzie, the legal receptionist/assistant. Trust this firm

Not sure where to start, but most of the comments below really do summarize the professionalism and legal knowledge this team has. They answer the phones, every time, even after hours and on weekends! Rick Ruhl is incredibility focused, very tactical, and understands the legal process, he is a qui...te force at work. We had started the journey with a different firm, who will not be named, that sold us how experienced they were, suffice it say, they were not at all and only added more stress, confusion, and delay for our family. Our Juvenile (15yo) Son was facing very serious felony charges with the strong possibility of being charged as an Adult, and was in a detention center longer than the state protocol called for. We were frightened and in search of help when we were referred to Rick a month into it with no insight as to when and how he would be handled. Rick took my call on Saturday afternoon, and we retained the firm Monday morning. YES, we were that impressed with his explanation of the challenge and process we faced. We felt a level of understanding that we really were hoping to get in that one-hour meeting. Once retained, Rick saw to it that our son was released immediately to us with an ankle monitor, while Rick and his firm sorted out what could be done with the SA office. Bottom line, in less than 1 month after hiring the firm, Rick was able to mange it so the state dropped all charges! We feel honored and blessed that we found our way to this team, this is not an experience you would wish on anyone, but if you happen to need the help, these guys should be your first call!!!!

Incredible

My son got into trouble, and went to jail. He violated probation, and it didn't look good. We went to speak with him and he explained some options. He went to court and my son came home,and had probation only. It could have been a lot worse. But Rick came in,and saved the day. He's incredible...

Mr. Ruhl is one of the best and most knowledgeable attorneys that I have had the pleasure of dealing with. He expedites his cases in a very timely matter and is very compassionate to all parties included in the case, especially the family members. Sharp teamwork by Ruhl Law saves the day for my son

My son was in deep trouble and it looked bad...but he was innocent despite the claims of his detractors. We turned to Ruhl Law and it took me a short time on the phone with Richard Ruhl to realize I was talking with a knowledgeable, experienced, capable and thoughtful attorney. Ruhl law team organ...ized a defense that would make a college professor proud. They hired an investigator to interview possible witnesses. Ruhl Team lawyer Alison fired out 14 motions that saved our case from going to trial. I am thrilled by the excellent care and competence shown by this team.
