They take an oath they don't live by

My husband was arrested for driving under the influence of marijuana and we hired Richard Ruhl and Sean Lux. All of my husband's drug tests were negative including and most importantly the one they collected at the sheriff's office. Once those results were recieved as negative, Sean called and said, ..."I know we said we wouldn't take the discrimination case, but we would like to represent him." We signed all the paperwork and their 25% payment fee if they won. This all took place in 2023 and there is only 2 years from the date of arrest that you can file. We went to court on 01/04/2024 and my husband was found not guilty. We left there with Sean saying we will file the paperwork against the CCSO. I called for an update in July 2023 and was told the paperwork had been filed. When I called in August for an update, Richard spoke to me and said that Sean was running for Charlotte County Judge and they wouldn't file until after the election. Also, Richard said that the same cop was just caught in another lie and would help our case. They never filed until 11/07/2024 and Sean won the election and now we had to wait 6 months for the CCSO to respond. I spoke to Richard on 04/11/2025 and he said that he was not a civil rights attorney but would find one for us by 05/07/2025. I called today and Richard said he could find no one to take our case because "everyone loves the cops today." Both Richard and Sean are liars and just goes to show that an honest person is always taken advantage of. I would not send my worst enemy to these people.

Hired Richard for my divorce and did nothing for me will not return my calls never was prepared don’t waste your money on him h

Don’t hired this Lawyer, I went to his office for his wife that she is a lawyer too but she will not do divorce cases so he took my case, since the beginning he did nothing I will tell him that my ex husband had a pension he will tell me that he has no pension I was doing the work for him we went to... court and he was not prepared asking me for things when we were there at the court I will call him and he will not answer my calls I was so frustrated and angry plus I was going to chemotherapy he just wanted me to get my ex offered no alimony no pension he will tell me’if you go to court he will get half of your retirement my 401 he will try to scare me because he didn’t want to go to trial we went to court not prepared he did nothing for me only took my money after the divorce my I tried several times calling him he will never answer me back never I spoke to his secretary left messages and nothing now I have to hired another lawyer spent more money because of his poor work.

Stay away from this guy

Save , only your money. He did nothing for us all the while claiming he was doing all this work, but never sent us any copies of work he claimed did. Coast me $3000.00 as he missed a 30 day time limit on motion. I had spoken to him many time to inform him to file this motion
