Please look elsewhere

His staff has no manners. They will forget to sent important documents that one needs to be signed and when approached about it they are rude. Good luck getting hold if atty Heintz after you hire and pay him. Getting through his team of secretaries that just really don't understand why you need to ta...lk with him. He has filed wrong response to my bank for mediation and has not informed me about anything what he has done. Not sure how he is in personal injury law, however when it comes to mortgage modification or foreclosure he will not try hard enough to fight for you. It's a mill. Take my advice please and look elsewhere

Review from a Peer

I'm a lawyer in Fort Myers, purely transactional law with no litigation experience. The set of unfortunate events that brought me to see Joe are not relevant. I knew the need for a foreclosure attorney would arrive and had been looking at the attorneys in court and reviewing their pleadings prior to... making a selection. I watched Joe and others in court and read their prior pleadings. By far Joe was the best attorney in court on the three times I observed foreclosure cases, visibly frustrating the banks attorneys and handcuffing the judge with case law. There are no words that I can write that can explain how grateful that I am to him and what he was able to do for me. Now, that being said, I do have to say that his staff was not always sensitive. I understand that they have a heavy caseload, but a little understanding as to the dire straits that people are suffering through would have gone a long way. My critique of his staff is in no way a reflection of his ability, skill and commitment to helping people. I would strongly recommend him to anyone that is in need of foreclosure or bankruptcy.

Disgusted Client

His service is so bad I cannot explain. He represented me in a foreclosure and Summary Judgment that was granted. It forced me into Chapter 13 bankruptcy. When My Bankruptcy attorney reviewed the note and ruling there never should have been this ruling. He could not have even looked at the note. ... Nothing was executed right. I should have been responsible for a small fraction of the amount due. The document was not signed by the appropriate parties and much much more. I attempted to have attorney Heintz fix the problem and he agreed but he did nothing. He never returns his phone calls. His staff knows nothing. I live in Ft Myers and drove to his office to meet him on more than one occasion and he was not even there. He does not read his documents. He is a bankruptcy mill only. DO NOT USE HIM! Looks like he will cost me everything due to his negligence.

best foreclosure attorney

i have been a client of his since 2007. recently, my case was set for a non-jury trial. we went to the trial and he argued the case to the judge. i testified and he was able to talk to the bank witness. the bank witness did not prove that he owned my mortgage and the judge granted me a verdict. ...after the case chase offered him a principle reduction of 100k and a fixed interest of 4.0
