Jorge Santana! Where do I even start? Jorge is unlike any lawyer I’ve ever seen. When he first took my case it was in shambles, completely mismanaged, poorly delt with and I was well on my way to losing my children to a women that was bent on destroying my life. Before Jorge my ex had hired a Guardia...n et Latium that turned out to be friends with her lawyer, I had a lawyer that didn’t seem to care, and her lawyer was filing one false motion after another to damage my name. After a failed mediation I went out looking for another lawyer and found the best lawyer I could find and after they looked at my case the new lawyer told me “I’ve never seen a case so mis-managed in my life, I can’t get you out of this mess but I know who can…. Jorge Santana!” My case should have been easy, mother kidnaps her children and runs to another state while the dedicated father was home taking care of them. Easy right? No… Sadly my past lawyer failed to file paperwork when it should have been filed, didn’t respond to the false allegations, agreed to things that were not in my or my children’s best interest, and failed to direct me on how to handle things; not to mention the abundance of poor advice that at times had me wondering who she worked for. I remember the first day that I met with Jorge, he didn’t sugar coat things and I remember him telling me “If I had this case from the start, you’d already have custody but now we are trying to make a chicken salad out of chicken …..” But we sat for hours talking about a plan and I walked out of there knowing exactly what to do. Days before trial we received the Guardian’s extremely late, extremely biased, and extremely false report highlighting comments made that were never made by people she never interviewed. Jorge and I must have spent a week straight, 14-hour days pouring over the details, gathering evidence and the day of court he hammered the guardian, pointing out every flaw, every false statement and even brought in all the witnesses that were mentioned in the report. It was a beautiful site to see Jorge in action and it was equally relieving to know that all the false statements were being disputed right before my eyes in a fashion you couldn’t disprove because Jorge did his homework. You see, by the time Jorge started my trial he already knew more about my case than I did, and it was obvious to me that he wasn’t in it for the money, nor the fame but as he stated, “I hate bullies and you're getting bullied”. I stated at the start that Jorge is unlike any other lawyer because he dedicated his life to my case, he studied the details, he got to know me as a person so much so that when something that didn’t sound right came up, he already knew it was false. He was always just a call away and more importantly than anything else, he knew what needed to be done and how to do it. His staff is top-notch, never missing a beat and …. I’ll let you in on a secret here. After working with him for the past year you wouldn’t believe how many lawyers send him their “troubled” cases because they know … Jorge gets things done!!
