Timothy Joseph Altieri

      Attorney Timothy J. Altieri has prosecuted thousands of criminal cases in Collier County as an Assistant State Attorney for the 20th Judicial Circuit. The 20th Judicial Circuit includes, Collier County, Lee County, Charlotte County, Glades County and Hendry County. Prior to becoming a prosecutor in Southwest Florida, Mr. Altieri was a private criminal defense attorney for a law firm in Buffalo, New York. He has handled jury and non-jury trials, violation of probation hearings, depositions, and countless motions in both Florida and New York State Criminal Courts. He uses his experience he attained as a prosecutor to represent his clients as a criminal defense attorney.

     After leaving the Prosecutor's Office, Mr. Altieri went on to practice personal injury defense work with a law firm in Southwest Florida. He uses his experience he attained as a personal injury defense attorney to represent his clients as a personal injury attorney.  In addition to practicing criminal defense law and personal injury law, Mr. Altieri also practices multiple areas of civil litigation.
