Ginine Marie Hanco

Attorney Hanco represented me in 2010 through 2012 in my divorce. She failed to prosecute the case in any professional manner. She destroyed my divorce case on day one in the courtroom by making very poor legal decisions that were in opposition to initial pleading written by her senior attorney and c...ompletely against my best interests. Not knowing any better at the time I trusted Ms. Hanco and the Men's Right's Law Firm in Cape Coral to continue their work. Ms. Hanco never seemed prepared and was constantly outperformed by the opposing counsel. After running up the bill for tens of thousands of my dollars and having no trial date set, Ms. Hanco was eventually terminated by the firm and I terminated my representation by the Men's Rights Law Firm. She contacted me and I allowed her to continue her work in her new firm, thinking maybe it was her old firm's fault the case was so mishandled, but she produced the same failures in her work. I again terminated Ms. Hanco and prosecuted my own divorce case in court with no clue how. I was able to schedule the trial and get successfully divorced in 2013 against the same opposing counsel Ms. Hanco could not even get into trial. I now have Sole Parental responsibility for my child. I reported this unprofessional representation to the Bar and in response, the attorneys took no responsibility and blamed me for their failures and lack of competence.

Ginine and her Para Legal Milly were very courteous and helpful as I went through the divorce, returning phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner. Milly guided me through providing information requested by the court and my wife’s attorney, and kept me informed of upcoming requirements. The best decision I made was to hire The Men's Rights Law Firm. Ginine Hanco was exceptionally knowledgeable of the Lee County court system and very understanding of my situation. I feel that she gave me great advice and without her, I could have ended up paying a lot more alimony. Her paralegal, ...Milly Blanco was also very helpful and prompt. Milly kept me informed of every step of the process. I feel that the retainer fees are reasonable, and the bills were very detailed to 0.10 hr. The time charged for each item was very reasonable. Here's a tip for you, the better organized your paperwork is, the less time they will spend preparing the documents. Overall Ginine and Milly are a great team! I highly recommend them!

Best decision and investment I have ever made. I won’t lie. I was afraid and skeptical, when I had to face the situation that I was put in. There are many law firms that specialize in Family Law, but I was looking for something to have some empathy when it came down to the human-relation aspect to t...he attorney-client relationship. I decided to schedule an appointment just to hear where I would legally stand, what my real options were, and just to sort the wheat from the chaff when it came to paternal rights.
