Douglas Molloy

I am Travis Hixson, and I am extremely disappointed with the representation I received from attorney Douglas Malloy. From my experience, there were serious problems with how my case was handled. I was told that a deposition had been taken, and information was communicated to my family about the de...position and evidence that I believe was not accurate. I also feel that I was never provided or shown all of the discovery and evidence that I should have received. Mr. Malloy did give me a strong fight during the motion-to-suppress hearing, and I appreciated that effort. However, when it came time for trial, I felt like that fight disappeared. I expected my attorney to challenge the evidence, cross-examine the witnesses aggressively, and fight for me throughout the entire trial. Instead, I felt that important issues were not properly challenged. I also believe I was given misleading information about important parts of my case. As a defendant facing serious consequences, I needed an attorney who was completely honest with me and my family and who would fight for my defense from beginning to end. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend Douglas Malloy to someone who is facing serious criminal charges and needs an attorney who will aggressively fight their case at trial. If you want, I can also �⁠make it much harder-hitting and more detailed, �⁠specifically addressing the motion to suppress, missing discovery, deposition, and his performance at trial.

I can only praise Mr. Dr. Douglas Molloy for his honest, caring, fair, reliable and "smart" handling of the cases. He is also only a human being. If there were some misunderstanding (what two reviews show), please think about, maybe there were some communication issues, and not everybody gets along ...with everyone, that is human nature. But please Mr. Dr. Douglas Molloy for it. God bless you Mr. Dr. Douglas Molloy.

Worse attorney ever. Doesn’t even deserve one star. Nothing but a liar. He’s disrespectful and arrogant. Hired him for my son’s case and he did nothing. Lied about the state coming down, lied about you only do 50 percent of your sentence, lied about everything. Pretending he could do someth...ing when he knew he couldn’t. Pretending to know people when he doesn’t. If you have a choice between two lawyers, go with the other one. Even a public defender is better than him.
