Replied last October 04, 2018This person called and based on the facts of his case, I gave him an honest opinion. His case is still pending so if another lawyer "guaranteed" him a result, that "guarantee" is against Florida Bar Rules. Attorneys are not allowed to give guarantees. The attorneys are "assuming" he can get a hardship license. His case has not been resolved yet and he does not know whether he will get a jail sentence. I am honest with people and the penalties they are facing and told him that up front. I did not even quote him a fee based on the judge and his circumstances. I am not attorney that will tell you what you want to hear just to get your business. i give honest and truthful answers so my clients know what to expect in court.
