We had two separate appointments and Laura never showed up to either one. She left us sitting there waiting on a lawyer that never showed up nor called us to let us know that Laura would not be at scheduled appointment. We took time off of work to meet with her only to be a no show. We have hired a l...awyer who actually puts her clients first and remembers appointments.

First off I was ecstatic to have Laura as my lawyer in the beginning. She accepted payments, seemed like a go getter with a head strong attitude, and was friendly and we'll spoken. The first sign of trouble was after she told me what she wanted down and what she expected monthly (and I agreed and ...complied) she suddenly, without any sort of previous warning wanted a large sum of money in a short period of time. Now I get that a lawyer is not going to work for free however I feel this would have been something mentioned in the initial consultation that could come up. Seeing as how I was on a payment plan it was extremely unreasonable to think that I would be able to come up with this large sum of money in less than two weeks. I received my tax return early and was able to pay that plus some extra, in addition to what I had already put down. She literally went to two court dates. One of these hearings required me to submit certain documents which she failed to provide me when I requested numerous times stating she was unable to get them (because she is a lawyer out of town from where my case is) but the crazy thing is a document preparation service 3x further away could get online and access these same documents??? So again I was left on my own obtaining these documents. Suddenly the other parties lawyer sends me a notice of a hearing that Laura, my lawyer is requesting to withdraw. Now I find that very deceptive that she never bothered to tell me or resolve anything prior to setting a hearing so that she could withdraw from my case. Even worse is that I had to hear the news from the other parties lawyer. Ridiculous. Upon learning of this I asked Laura why and she basically said because the case is at a stand still or in her words a "quagmire". Which is even more ironic because that is why I hired her and kept asking her via text every couple of weeks why this case hasn't progressed only to hear that the other parties lawyer will not respond to her. The day after she withdraws (the day she withdrew from my case my mother had to go for a 12 hour surgery out of town for her very sudden and recent diagnosis of liver cancer) my husband called to ask why she withdrew and if she would be refunding us some of our money only for her to give a whole other explanation as to why she withdrew (she stated it was because of what the other party was allegedly testifying to in an upcoming trial) which is even more ridiculous because they were lies. The other party has had a long history of lying to boot. But never once did she think to call and even ask me about any of what the other party was alledging nor inform me of it. Oh and when asked if she would be returning the money she so desperately had to have for trial previously she stated that she had already spent that and was working for free which is a complete lie. The large sum she blindsided me with previously and had to have to continue was specifically for trial. Seeing as how her reason for withdrawing was because of something the other party was allegeding and was going to say at trial should tell you that trial had not even taken place. I feel cheated, I feel like she basically lied to me about her reason for withdrawing, she made zero effort to help me obtain the documents I was ordered to have filed with the courts. She talked me into hiring her with the attraction of affordability, took my money (down payment), demanded more money not previously memtioned to continue (not withdraw), and then tried to withdraw without even informing me of this decision. VERY DECEPTIVE. THIS IS A CUSTODY CASE.. IT INVOLVES MY CHILD.. SHAME ON YOU LAURA. SHAME ON YOU. POTENTIAL CLIENTS BEWARE... LOOK ELSEWHERE

We met Laura for the first time in the summer of 2015. We came to her with a very complex and difficult case. She was very kind, understanding, and most of all honest!!!!! She has gone over and beyond our expectations. She has worked day and night on our case. She has been there to walk us through a...ll the ups and downs of our case. She has always returned our calls, emails, and text promptly. If you are looking to hire an attorney that cares about your case as much as you do then I would recommend hiring Laura!!! She will treat your case as if it were her own!!!!!

So far I’ve already had two other attorneys representing me on this case and neither one did what they said they’d do. I gave one of them a $2500 retainer and she did absolutely nothing in the 4 months that I had her on my case, so you could see why I was very nervous about hiring another attorney, b...ut I’d have to say that finding Erin Hardister McLean and Laura Vittletoe have been a god send. They’ve accomplished more in the one week since retaining them, then my last attorney did in 4 months. They are very reasonable on their fees as well. They’re hands down the best attorney’s out there. I’ve already referred them to one of my friends and will continue to do so..

I hired Laura after losing a previous attorney and had a lengthy trial with her regarding a very heated divorce. Laura spent an enormous amount of time prepping with me over a weekend and came to court organized and ready to win. She's not afraid to go up against older, aggressive attorneys and fi...ghts like the case is the most important in the world for her. She's young but has real presence in the courtroom. I highly recommend.
