Wonderful Attorney
I would have been lost without Laura during my divorce. I had a very difficult case and she was dedicated, honest and transparent. Her rates are incredibly reasonable. I highly recommend her.

very poor
Hired this lawyer for a simple mod of c/s . Still waiting . Paid and she took money . Still waiting . Ended up paying more c/s than I was before I was disabled and still paying for child that is out of school and soon to be 19 . Do not hire . I am still waiting as I get raked over coals

I would use her again
I had a great experience with Ms. Vittetoe. She was prepared, kept me informed, and very patient with my questions. She is naturally very easy to talk to and I would use her again.

not great
While Laura was very nice, her job as an attorney is questionable. I hired Laura but I ended up with one of her assistants who was horrible. I had a full case with tons of evidence and and proof on my side and they did not present ANY of it in court. It was a total waste of time and money. In turn m...

Replied last July 09, 2019While it is not feasible to comment on the private details of this case, I think the above reviewer opens the door to some issues that often cause clients frustration. In family law, I will advise you in a detailed manner whether I recommend settlement or taking a case to trial. If you choose to settle your case before a trial, you will surrender the ability to take your evidence and make arguments in front of the judge. Once a settlement is signed as a final order by a judge, only new evidence that amounts to a substantial change in circumstances of an unanticipated and material nature is legally relevant to modify that final judgment. If I am retained for a case, and down the road, you wish to modify your original case, you would need to rehire me to represent you in a modification. We will answer questions for which we are retained and then politely indicate in writing that we have reached the conclusion of the representation and ask if you wish to continue to retain us. If you do not wish to continue to retain us, we will no longer represent you. If I did not do this, I would end up working without compensation on cases indefinitely, which would not result in a sustainable business model. It is not uncommon for someone who has entered a settlement to begin second guessing that choice, and if struggling with the reality of the situation, to place blame on the attorney. I would refer anyone to my other reviews, which show the vast majority of reviewers are satisfied with my services.
