Biography
Attorney Cody Emerson is the founding Partner of Emerson Law, P.A. The primary focus of our practice is divorce and family law, however, we also handle personal injury cases. Cody graduated from Florida State University with dual degrees in Real Estate and Finance. He then attended Florida State University’s College of Law. While in school, Cody volunteered with the FSU Public Interest Law Center, representing indigent clients attempting to navigate their way through the rigors of the family law legal system.
Attorney Emerson opened Emerson Law, P.A. in January 2014. Since that time, he has assisted over 1,000 clients in cases of divorce, alimony, paternity, child custody, child support, equitable distribution, adoptions, personal injury, and many other legal matters. Attorney Emerson has extensive litigation experience dealing with contested trials, motion hearings, depositions, and mediations. In many cases, he has been successful in negotiating a settlement prior to trial, reducing the cost for his clients while obtaining amicable results.
