Jennifer Catherine Harrington

Jennifer C. Harrington is an AV-rated attorney with over twenty years of experience practicing law.  Ms. Harrington practices exclusively in the area of family law, with a focus on divorce, custody, visitation, child support, spousal support, paternity, domestic violence, equitable distribution, modifications, enforcement proceedings,  prenuptial agreements and collabrative law.

She devotes a significant portion of her practice to child custody cases, and her considerable wealth of experience in this area includes working on international-level custody cases. 

Ms. Harrington has prepared and presented seminars for the Florida Bar, including the Trial Advocacy Seminar, the Children's Issues Seminar, and Attorney's Fee Seminars.  She is the past Chair of the Family Law Section Continuing Legal Education Committee, and is a past member of the Family Law Section Executive Council.  She is also a former member of the Family Law Rules Committee and was appointed to the Legal Needs of Children Committee. 

Prior to practicing exclusively in the area of family law, Ms. Harrington was an Assistant State Attorney for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit in Fort Myers, Florida, where she was a supervisor in the Major Crimes Division, preparing and litigating capital murder death penalty cases. 

Ms. Harrington is licensed to practice law in Florida and is also admitted to practice before the Federal Middle District of Florida.  She is a member of the Clearwater Bar Association and the Canakaris Inn of Court.
