I contracted with Malhotra Law Firm to handle a simple probate case, this case took 6 months to complete which was entirely to long for the simplicity of this case. I was told I needed to pay $500.00 additionally for a amended death certificate which never got amended. I have tried on numerous occas...ions to get Ryan, Andrea, or Cynthia to follow up on this matter and they keep saying they will have Cyrus give me a call. Several weeks have gone by and I have not heard from anyone. If the death certificate got amended please send me a copy so I can forward to my client, if not please refund my money for services that were not rendered. The copy of the death certificate that was sent to me was the initial certificate that I sent in. Mike M

I can't say enough good things about the Malhotra Law Firm. They literally came to my rescue after a family member passed. As executor of the trust, I was falsely informed, following his passing, by the agency who prepared his trust, that everything was subject to probate and they wanted to charge an... astronomical amount in fees. I was suspicious after my consultation with them and contacted the Malhotra Law firm for a consultation. We discussed the particulars of the assets and how they were titled/deeded. Mr. Malhotra informed me that none of the assets were subject to probate! He spent a fair amount of time with me and did this through the consultation. His honesty saved the estate tens of thousands of dollars. Had I needed to probate any portion of the trust, using the Malhotra firm would have cost us a small fraction of what the unscrupulous firm would have charged. It was a total set-up that I think a lot of families and seniors fall for. Mr. Malhotra and his firm saved us from these unethical estate planners. The Malhotra Law Firm is extremely responsive, caring, professional and most of all, ethical! I strongly encourage anyone who needs to plan their estate/trust or finds themselves in a position to probate an estate to use this firm!

I initially contacted Malhotra Law Firm on October 15, 2019. I paid fee and provided all data required. I complained to Cyrus Malhotra that I was not able to get any updated information without requesting it. I asked for a different point of contact and a weekly or monthly status report. I didn't ...receive response but when I spoke with them I was told they had just hired another person to help with cases - they had been understaffed before this hiring. After this, documents were provided with several errors. I made corrections and sent them back as well as filing fee. Case was finally filed on January 23, 2020. On February 26, I was informed that Oath I had filled out was not acceptable by court because Oath had changed at beginning of 2020. I was appointed personal representative on April 6, 2020. Malhotra notified me that creditor period ends on July 15, 2020. Malhotra provided documents so property could be sold on June 30. 2020. Finally on August 31, 2020, I received Order of Discharge from court dated August 13, 2020. This has been my worst experience, never knowing what was happening to resolve my deceased brother's estate. It took ten and a half months and should have been completed in six months or less.
