Cyrus Malhotra

I spoke to Mr Malhotra by telephone and he was well spoken and helpful as to what sort of paperwork I needed. He seemed quite reputable I paid for a Ladybird deed June 10 and was given a 7-10 working day timeline. It is now July 5 and in spite of several emails requesting an update i have received NO... RESPONSE from Mr Malhotra I have explained I have a limited amount of time to do this STILL NO RESPONSE. I received one response when I contacted Cynthia Holly June 27 at his office and she replied that she would tell Cyrus to send my paperwork ASAP .July 5th now and still no paperwork and no response. I requested a refund and still no reply. DO NO HIRE HIM IF YOU ACTUALLY NEED WORK DONE.

I hired Cyrus Malhotra to do a simple probate case. I paid a retainer, got sent alot of papers to fill out which i did, he called me once to say courts are backed up did NOTHING for me. I sent a request to cancel service and ask for refund he has not responded nor has his staff. This started in Apr...il of 2023 and still no communication or refund..

I initially contacted Malhotra Law Firm on October 15, 2019. I paid fee and provided all data required. I complained to Cyrus Malhotra that I was not able to get any updated information without requesting it. I asked for a different point of contact and a weekly or monthly status report. I didn't ...receive response but when I spoke with them I was told they had just hired another person to help with cases - they had been understaffed before this hiring. After this, documents were provided with several errors. I made corrections and sent them back as well as filing fee. Case was finally filed on January 23, 2020. On February 26, I was informed that Oath I had filled out was not acceptable by court because Oath had changed at beginning of 2020. I was appointed personal representative on April 6, 2020. Malhotra notified me that creditor period ends on July 15, 2020. Malhotra provided documents so property could be sold on June 30. 2020. Finally on August 31, 2020, I received Order of Discharge from court dated August 13, 2020. This has been my worst experience, never knowing what was happening to resolve my deceased brother's estate. It took ten and a half months and should have been completed in six months or less.

I contracted with Mr. Malhotra's law firm to handle a small probate case in Miami-Dade county in January of 2018. After months of no progress he stated that Miami-Dade county was notorious for taking so long to handle probate cases. I tried to keep in touch with his firm monthly but since September, ...I have not been able to contact anyone to get a status. Now, the phone is answered only by a recording saying to leave a message but no one ever returns the call. Same with text messages asking for call back. I have asked for a refund of my fees and costs as apparently nothing has been done. I don't know if the firm is still in business so I'm worried about my papers. Anybody know what's going on?
