Cyrus Malhotra

Hired Mr Malhotra for simple estate for. I would not recommend him. If you have to use him, get a second opinion before you give him any money. He recommended two estates where the Judge stated only one was required this after I already paid for two. The second was denied by the judge. He didn't... even have the courtesy to let me know what happened. I had to contact the court myself to find out the disposition of the case. Then he would never take a call or reply to an e-mail. Complete lack of professionalism. I could have excused nearly anything, but to completely ghost me without any explanation or comment is inexcusable.

I hired Cyrus Malhotra to do a simple probate case. I paid a retainer, got sent alot of papers to fill out which i did, he called me once to say courts are backed up did NOTHING for me. I sent a request to cancel service and ask for refund he has not responded nor has his staff. This started in Apr...il of 2023 and still no communication or refund..

After the probate was done, we also did estate planning with him, and that experience was just as smooth. I’ve already sent a few family members his way, and I will continue to do so! I can't say enough good things about the Malhotra Law Firm. They literally came to my rescue after a family member passed. As executor of the trust, I was falsely informed, following his passing, by the agency who prepared his trust, that everything was subject to probate and they wanted to charge an... astronomical amount in fees. I was suspicious after my consultation with them and contacted the Malhotra Law firm for a consultation. We discussed the particulars of the assets and how they were titled/deeded. Mr. Malhotra informed me that none of the assets were subject to probate! He spent a fair amount of time with me and did this through the consultation. His honesty saved the estate tens of thousands of dollars. Had I needed to probate any portion of the trust, using the Malhotra firm would have cost us a small fraction of what the unscrupulous firm would have charged. It was a total set-up that I think a lot of families and seniors fall for. Mr. Malhotra and his firm saved us from these unethical estate planners. The Malhotra Law Firm is extremely responsive, caring, professional and most of all, ethical! I strongly encourage anyone who needs to plan their estate/trust or finds themselves in a position to probate an estate to use this firm!
