I'm not happy with the work he has done in my case so far. Actually, after making us wait more than two months we decided to terminate. Then he charged more than 40% of the money even he did nothing.
Not having been terminated as counsel recently by anyone other than an employment-based (PERM labor certification case) client, I must assume that this review pertains to that matter. Although I can appreciate any client's desire for a swift resolution to their immigration needs, when it comes to certain types of immigration cases, for example PERM labor certification cases, serious and considerable deliberation should be employed before taking concrete, irreversible steps. The slightest misstep in certain cases, like PERM, can, in the long run, lead to wasted time and money. In a PERM case, what a client may, but hopefully does not, perceive as inactivity is actually serious, careful deliberation. This includes, but is not limited to, evaluating and selecting the most appropriate Occupational Information Network - Standard Occupational Classification (O*NET-SOC) occupation code, gathering clarifying information from the employer to verify either that the initially contemplated O*NET-SOC code is appropriate or that another code should be considered, and analyzing whether the employer's stated requirements for the position in question exceed the Specific Vocational Preparation (SVP) scale identified for the occupation in the respective O*NET job zone. Practitioners unaware of the consequences of preparing a PERM application that identifies job requirements that exceed SVP and spending perhaps thousands of dollars of the client's money to run faulty job advertisements, these practitioners run the risk of having to begin the entire case anew following a denial. I strive always to provide excellent service and, in that respect, am sorry that the author of this review felt dissatisfied.
